There was a fire on Sunday. I, Max, was very nervous because I didn’t have my shoes on. Our neighbor walked by and he heard the fire alarm go off. So he ran in his house and got his fire extinguisher. He put out the fire! Yay Hero Neighbor!
The most damage was Mom and Dad’s room (besides the kitchen).

It took less than 5 minutes to prepare this lesson so you might say it was a total winging-it situation. But that’s what you get when I have this sudden fear that one day Max will hear a teacher say something about Christopher Columbus and he’d go “huh?”
I have those kinds of fears with homeschooling from time to time (like everyday).
We did enjoy this lesson. Max loves any kind of hands-on project. I read the story on the computer while he cut out the vocabulary words then we came up with our own story using those words. It was a great exercise in working together, reading comprehension, and writing a report. Not to mention social studies and geography.
Three products I have LOVED this year: my MacBook, our $5 globe, and that roll of paper I bought at Wal-Mart.

I earned my white sash in Kung Fu. Finally I can get out of my boring clothes!

This is me in Shot Position. That’s Master Joe. He’s the leader of Martial Arts Academy. He’s a good teacher.

I really want to kick that board. I’m trying to have self control.

This is me getting ready for the final blow.

CRASH!

Finally I can earn my white sash!

Cracking the board was awesome! But earning my white sash was even awesomer!

We left but Dad stays to earn his white sash. You did good, Dad!

I had an awesome, awesome, awesome week. I almost did everything in the world this week. I have a girlfriend list. I can’t decide which one to marry. Did you know my list is actually in my mind? I didn’t write it down. I played with one of my girlfriends. We had lots of fun. We played a cat game. I went to Awana. That was truly fun. I went to Adventure Club, also. That was lots of fun too. I went to Kung Fu. It was awesome.
I learned lots of many things in school. I made a football graph.

We made a list of the teams. We find out what scores the football teams do. If they win we draw a block. Mr. Cook, the Denver Broncos won three games in a row.
What is your favorite team?

This was me and dad.
We went to the beach. It was dark. We just got to our hotel. Me and Dad saw a flashlight. Then we saw a crab shell. Then we saw the flashlight again. I thought it was just a light from the haunted hotel but I was wrong. Someone was spying on us!
Anyway, I saw three holes and the third one had a big hole in it. Dad thought it was full of water.
We saw a big boat with important pieces taken off of it.
We saw a guy walking on the beach. I could only see a glimpse of him.
This is going to be a long blog post.
Pops helped me with the proof of the clues.
The boat with missing pieces: Someone who lives in the haunted hotel owns the boat. Every night he comes out to ride it.
Half of crab shell: Man from the haunted hotel who rides the boat got hungry and ate the crab.
Flashlight beam: There were two men. One rode in the boat and ate the crab. The other man had the flashlight.
Three holes: Man dug the first hole and he didn’t find a crab. He dug a second hole and still didn’t find a crab. He dug the third hold and saw a crab so he dug the little hole to catch the crab.
So that’s the proof of the clues of me and dad going down to the beach at night.

It was my greatest day ever! After school it was starting to get to the most awesome parts of the day. I got to watch Spongebob Halloween and I went to the mall and we had pizza with Daddy. And I played with Legos all day. It rained today so we cancelled going to the pool.
It’s raining right now and it’s thundering.

When you put a little piece of paper on the vent, it stands up. Which is awesome!
Mom: What makes the paper stand up?
The air!
